Nineteen of the Russian's 21 championships have been won on hard surfaces
A revitalized Daniil Medvedev secured his maiden title for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The Russian, a former world number one, has experienced a difficult season, achieving just one match at the major tournaments and experiencing a setback at the American major.
The player's varied form on the tennis tour - and issues with his serving in especial - caused him exiting of the elite rankings and eventually parting ways with long-time mentor Gilles Cervara.
Presently training with his coach and Rohan Goetzke, the tennis star has gradually advanced in the last few weeks - climaxing in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over Frenchman Moutet.
This marks his first championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court from that period of that year.
Success also signifies Medvedev has secured 21 titles at twenty-one distinct competitions.
"It's the first time I have attended a event with my children at once, so to win a title is particularly special," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my child Victoria, because the maiden victory I won when my first daughter Alisa was born was for her."
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his past six title deciders, including in the German tournament earlier this year.
The player's retrieving play style and frequent outbursts on court had prompted commentators to question if his skill to compete at the top level was finished.
But the athlete has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, making an effort to advance forward and perform positively, reinforced by an better serving game.
The champion fought back from a deficit in the first set against the difficult opponent, taking 4 of the concluding five exchanges to go ahead.
The pair exchanged breaks in the second set before Moutet, bidding for his maiden tour victory, gained dominance to push for a third set.
Moutet saved four early-game break points in a tight deciding set before the champion secured a break to fifteen to close out the victory.
Suitably, the winner earned victory with a rally at the front of the court, with his opponent failing to manage a shot after over two and a half hours.
